I've been reluctant to seek help all my life. My default was always to just deal with it, internalize the issues and take them on myself.

When I started working with Andrew, I was in a tough spot. The pressure and feeling of overwhelm were increasing, I had too many things going on, and I had reached a point where I was trying to do everything but ultimately wasn't serving anything or anyone particularly well.

I've always felt a need to be the "savior", to solve problems, please people and take responsibility for things around me. I put a huge amount of pressure on myself and, in doing so, wouldn't prioritize myself, what I truly wanted, or what brought me joy. I wasn't present, I wasn't looking after my health, and I wasn't really asking myself a very basic question: what do I actually want?

Eventually, the stress started showing up in my health and in my relationship with my family. I felt increasingly disconnected from them, more irritable and, despite having the people I cared about around me, increasingly alone. I could see that rather than being present with my family, I was actually pushing them away.

I've been reluctant to seek help all my life. My default was always to just deal with it, internalize the issues and take them on myself. It took getting to a breaking point for me to recognize that something had to change. My health and my family were not negotiable, and I wasn't willing to compromise either of them for work or anything else.

I was nervous to talk to Andrew, and it took me a little while to really open up. But once I did, it felt like I was shedding weight, like a burden I'd been carrying for a long time was finally being lifted.

The work went much deeper than I expected. Andrew helped me understand how experiences from my childhood had shaped patterns around approval, expectations and the need to prove myself. Things that I was still carrying into my adult life without realizing it. More importantly, the process helped me actually work through them and begin letting go.

I went from feeling overwhelmed, procrastinating and stagnating to actually taking action and making changes in my life. I still have a lot of different business interests and things I want to pursue. The difference is that I have much more clarity about why I'm doing them, what actually matters to me, and what I'm not willing to sacrifice along the way.

Probably the biggest thing I've taken from the process is something that sounds incredibly simple but wasn't simple for me at all: I can exist for me.

I can prioritize my health. I can be present with my family. I can pursue the things I genuinely want to pursue. And I don't always have to be the person saving, pleasing or proving something to everyone else. I couldn't have imagined when I started how much this would help me. I'm incredibly glad I found Andrew, and I have a huge amount of gratitude for what he helped me do.
